Originally designed by Dušan Bekar in 1980, during the era of Ex-Yugoslavia, the iconic Startas brand has witnessed a rich and powerful history. We translated this legacy into a simple, adaptable design framework that allows for easy updates while maintaining the brand’s timeless essence for its exclusive distribution in southern Europe, focusing on the sports for which the shoes were originally invented—Basketball, Tennis, and Table Tennis.
